Jungle Boy Match Announced For AEW Dynamite

The AEW Dynamite's return to Wednesday Nights card has been completed. Jungle Boy will compete on Dynamite against Hardy Family Office (HFO) and TH2 member Jack Evans in singles competition, as announced on tonight's episode of AEW Dark. The announcement adds to Jungle Boy's already hectic week. On a special episode of Dynamite this Saturday night, the 24-year-old unsuccessfully challenged Kenny Omega for the AEW Championship, then revealed his connection with another AEW star Anna Jay a few days later.The fight with Evans will also continue Jungle Boy's rivalry with the HFO, who have been targeting Jungle Boy because of his friendship with Matt Hardy's opponent Christian Cage.

Evans will be wrestling for the first time on AEW Dynamite since February 17, when he and Angelico lost to new stablemate Hardy and Hangman Page. Since then, the former AAA Cruiserweight Champion has largely participated on Dark and Dark: Elevation, most recently losing to Matt Sydal. The battle will also be a rematch from AEW Dark: Elevation's March 29 broadcast, in which Jungle Boy used the Snare Trap to defeat Evans.

Miro will defend the AEW TNT Championship against Brian Pillman Jr., and AEW Women's World Champion Dr. Britt Baker DMD will team up with Rebel to take on #1 challenger Nyla Rose and her manager, Vickie Guerrero, in five more matches for Dynamite. The Pinnacles MJF will face The Inner Circle's Sammy Guevara in a grudge match, and Eddie Kingston and Penta El Zero Miedo will wrestle the Young Bucks in a Tag Team Qualifier match, with Kingston and Penta receiving an AEW Tag Title chance if they win.

Cody Rhodes is scheduled to appear, as well as Chris Jericho on commentary.
