Results from #BitterRivals Union, NJ 5/6/17
-The Golden Voice of Professional Wrestling Patrick Richard Ream served as the special guest ring announcer for the evening.
-Invader #9 broke his 45-match losing record streak since coming to D2W and got his first win over Ike Phillips with an Airplane Spin into a roll-up.
-The 2017 NAGA Cruiserweight Champion Red Hot Russ survived a Relentless attack from Aaron Bradley and picked up a tapout victory with The Sharpshooter
-The Jersey Devil and Adam Chandler the Great now calling themselves RUN DNC successfully defended the D2W Tag Team Championships against the former champs One Mean Team (Number 1 Brian Johnson and Justin Pusser with Miss Jasmine). The Champs picked up the win after the DNC Drop on Johnson.
-Matty Ice defeated Hoost Traplash by pinfall to retain the D2W International Championship. The Ice Man finished off the Best In Show with the Polar Vortex.
-In the Main Event, hometown heroes The Down Boyz took on long-time rivals Glitz & Glamour. Steve Gibki was forced to go at it alone for most of the match after Tony Vincita missed a very high-risk dive from the top rope crashing into a reinforce plastic table and then the concrete floor. Despite the adversity Gibki stayed in the contest until Vincita was able to rejoin the fray and the Down Boyz scored the victory over Jarrett Foster and Steve Sterling with the Power Down. The very personal and volatile match took a toll on all the competitors both mentally and physically. All four individually were seen by medical professionals after the match and at this point it is unsure if any of them will be medically cleared for June's #MercuryRising Event.
