- Friday's SmackDown drew an average of 2.043 million viewers in the overnight ratings, according to Showbuzz Daily. Hour one drew 2.105 million viewers, then hour two went down to 1.980 million viewers.SmackDown also drew an average of 0.55 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which was #4 for the night behind NBA Countdown (0.9), Jimmy Kimmel Live (1.1), and the NBA Finals (averaged 1.6).
- Impact Wrestling superstar Tenille Dashwood recently posted to her Instagram account about the importance of taking risks and not playing it safe, releasing stills from her latest photo shoot with photographer Daniel Forero in the process. Dashwood writes, "If you want it, go for it. Take a risk. Don't always play it safe or you'll die wondering."
- In the photoshoot, Nakamura is seen dressed as The Undertaker, a screengrab of which can be seen below. Nakamura deleted the tweet quickly, perhaps since WWE does not want news of a possible future angle getting out.
- This week's WWE SmackDown episode saw Jey Uso pick up a major upset win over AJ Styles in the first match of the night. Uso won clean by pinfall after hitting the Uso Splash.
- Triple H will be giving a live interview on his Facebook page on Sunday at 2pm ET before the WWE NXT "Takeover: 31" event. The interview will be hosted by McKenzie Mitchell, and will also air on WWE's social media platforms, including YouTube. Triple H usually does post-Takeover interviews on Facebook.
- Next Wednesday's edition of The Bump will feature a mock WWE Draft. Guests announced include Wade Barrett, actor and noted pro wrestling fan Ken Jeong, and actor/comedian and indie wrestler RJ City.
- WWE has just announced that McIntyre will team with RAW Tag Team Champions The Street Profits to face Orton, Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler in the main event of WWE RAW this week.
- Carmella has been revealed as the woman behind the recent mystery teaser vignettes on WWE SmackDown.
- The second title match between Jey Uso and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will take place at WWE Hell In a Cell.It was indicated on commentary that Uso vs. Reigns will take place inside the Hell In a Cell structure, but WWE has not officially announced the match as of this writing.
- AEW star MJF engaged with fans on Friday night through a Q&A session on Twitter. When asked to name his dream opponent outside the AEW roster, MJF said, "Betterthanyou vs #BayBay," implying that he would love to lock horns with NXT's Adam Cole.
