Officials from Impact Wrestling are apparently looking for a new location for TV tapings.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there has been talk of bringing Impact TV tapings to Las Vegas later this year. If the move is made, there will be fans in the crowd.

If the company decides to relocate, it is expected to book a relatively small building in Vegas.

In recent years, Impact has taped at Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall in Las Vegas. Although attendance has never been confirmed, ROH reportedly drew 800 people to the venue in August 2016 for their Death Before Dishonor XIV pay-per-view.

Impact began using the 16-acre Skyway Studios outside downtown Nashville, Tennessee for production in April 2016. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, they began employing Skyway for closed-set TV tapings in April 2020. For the first time since the outbreak, fans will be allowed to attend the Slammiversary pay-per-view on July 17th.

From June 2002 until September 2004, Impact competed at the Tennessee State Fairground Sports Arena, also known as The TNA Asylum. From June 2004 to March 2013, they were based at Universal Studios Soundstage 21 in Orlando, Florida, where they experienced substantial development. The organisation has taped performances from numerous venues across North America and other places, including Vegas, during that time and afterwards, but the rumoured transfer for later this year would be the first time the company has set up shop outside of Orlando and Nashville.

There's no indication on how long Impact's anticipated Vegas residency will run, but we'll keep you informed.
